This is really a fun idea and I hope to see if you share the same memories I have.
Here are the instructions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot; anything you can remember.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's fun to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

There are so many wonderful memories of you that it is hard to settle on one. I often think of our piano lessons together, and how fun it was to teach someone who actually WANTED to learn to play. That was when our friendship developed. You were my favorite student. Do you ever play?
Well, I have 32 years of memories to choose from so this is hard to narrow! I remember how excited you were when I got the lead in my 3rd grade play and you immediately started pulling out fabric and patterns to sew my costume. I still have the bonnet from that, in the basket of my kids dress-up clothes. I remember when you fell down the stairs and broke your ankle and we were totally terrified and didn't know what to do! We always read lots of books together and you really encouraged our love of reading, buying us all the books we wanted plus bookmobile trips, too. You reading "Little House" to us is one of my favorite memories. Isabel is begging me to teach her how to cross-stitch and I remember when I was about her age you sitting down and teaching Amy and I with those little house patterns! And yes, I remember the cardboard I didn't want thrown out, too. I think I just had such a happy childhood I never wanted ANYTHING about it to change!
I remember that you always had cool movies to watch; in particular, I remember watching Clue (I think it was Clue) and laughing so hard (though that was probably because I didn't get any of the jokes!).
I remember one Christmas coming home from shopping with Dad, and you were over with Mom in the living room working on something that you guys didn't let me see. Turns out, you and Mom were making our very own Cabbage Patch dolls, and when I opened that Christmas morning, I couldn't believe I'd actually gotten one. It was the coolest thing ever.
Basically, my childhood memories are all about "the Potters and the Walls". Just going to your house was an adventure -- man, I loved that house!
Hmmm...so many memories! One early memory I have is coming downstairs after a nap. You were watching general conference and painting your nails and you had me come and sit by you so you could paint my fingernails too and I felt so glamorous and grown up! I too remember the mistake I made on those re-usable worksheets. I just knew you were going to kill me because you had made such a big deal about only writing on the top sheet "no matter what". What I think is funny was that I couldn't bear to prolong my punishment and wait for you to get home so I went running to meet my doom! I remember the beautiful prom dress you made for me and even though I wasn't excited about my prom date, the dress made it totally worth it. Do you remember our chips and salsa talks in mine and Alison's room? I remember David as a baby just starting finger foods going to town on the chips and salsa--he'd eat more than we did and the spiciness didn't seem to bother him a bit.
It is funny how you can grow up in the same house with the same people, and have completely different memories. I don't think I share any of the memories as Amy and Alison. I guess because I am a boy and was out playing in the dirt or roaming the hills while they were in painting nails and cross stitching. However I do have plenty of my own memories, but will limit it as not to right a book here. I am not sure why but one of my favorite memories is playing restaruant. When we would go out on the front porch and you would open the window and take our "orders", which would either be peanut butter and Jelly or melted cheese sandwiches. We would then excitedly wait until our order was up when you would hand them to us through the open window. I also remember really liking naps, the ones where we would argue about who got the warm and who got the cold side of the fan. It is sad that other kids do not have such good childhoods.
