Happy Day
It was a great day today...Amy had her baby at 11:20 a.m EDT. She is to be named Kaya Nicole. She weighed in at 7 pounds 10 ounces and is 20 1/2 inches long. She is a beautiful baby with lots of dark hair. I took lots of photos of her at about 2 hours old and will be posting them in a day or so. Kalen has my digital camera right now, and I'm sure Amy will be posting lots of photos when she is back home also. Kaya is my 13th grandchild and I'm looking forward to the 14th when Marni and Andrew have their baby. I've heard it said that the best days are when babies are born and I'm not going to argue with that. Happy Happy Birthday little Kaya!!

Oh my, I just asked you how many grandchildren you have (on a previous comment) and now I read that you have 13, with number 14 on the way. That is exactly what I have. Marek (Ariana's boy, born May 12th) was my 13th, and Caleb and Ashley are expecting a girl the end of September. We always did like doing things together, didn't we?
